That fact alone SIGNIFICANTLY increases the chances for multiple back-to-back blower days, while I'm stuck showing my girl how to shred, lol.rip8569https://www.blogger.com/profile/04538121315757925345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7409219001795425656.post-14126393317819947682007-11-25T22:05:00.000-05:002007-11-25T22:05:00.000-05:00It looks like the predictions for warm weather wil...It looks like the predictions for warm weather will encourage people to take advantage of whatever snow comes our way.canonizerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02588897092776189106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7409219001795425656.post-59251090635826693402007-11-20T15:34:00.000-05:002007-11-20T15:34:00.000-05:00We had a monster hornets nest across the street in...We had a monster hornets nest across the street in an Ash Tree(I think it's ash). It was on a lower branch on the outer part of the limb. I use my Husky as a forecaster for winter and like last year he's still shedding at T-Giving time. Not good, but he's getting old. Maybe he's just tired of growing hair.DVJ2https://www.blogger.com/profile/09452754228512538062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7409219001795425656.post-34902455892819121452007-11-20T15:23:00.000-05:002007-11-20T15:23:00.000-05:00Agreed , glad to see you back. Not as much brown as last year, but you never know. I bet the second week of March will be great, but hey, it almost always is. Book your vacation today.....

I didn't see much for hornets nests in the pine trees this year and can't speak to what they predict about the depth of snow to come. The higher in the tree the better. Anyone else notice any hornets nests?

Anyway, I bought a Mad River Glen pass this year, and the last time I did, it snowed like crazy all ski season long. ('93-'94) Let's hope for a little luck, and squeak through with as many decent ski days as possible, no matter the weather.

MRG, ski it if you can!

-Art Hendrickson

New Haven, VTarthendrixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06679655417177614179noreply@blogger.com
